Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture took part in Dubai Watch Week 2025
At the exhibition, independent Russian watchmaker and inventor Konstantin Chaykin presented two key premieres – the highly complicated White Rabbit Wristmon and the painting A Mad Horological Party.

Dubai Watch Week 2025 took place from 19 to 23 November in Dubai, in the newly expanded Dubai Mall and Burj Park venue. The seventh edition of the show brought together more than 90 brands and around 49,000 visitors, firmly consolidating Dubai’s status as one of the key hubs of the global watch scene.

One of the most talked-about highlights of the fair was the debut of the highly complicated White Rabbit Wristmon. This grand complication-level model ranks among the twenty most complicated wristwatches in the history of watchmaking. White Rabbit combines 16 complications, including the first perpetual calendar in Russian watchmaking and the poetic “Mad Tea-Party Time” function, which refers to the seventh chapter of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. The transformable case allows the watch to be worn on the wrist or as a pocket watch, while its double-sided architecture underscores the connection with the literary image of the White Rabbit.

The painting A Mad Horological Party is also part of this large-scale project, this time in the realm of art. Conceived as a metaphor for the creation of the White Rabbit watch, it shows Konstantin Chaykin at his workbench, surrounded by mechanical characters in whose appearance one can recognise Carroll’s protagonists – Alice, the Hatter, the Dormouse and the March Hare. Together, the mechanical and pictorial works form a single artistic context in which the theme of time is explored both through a highly complicated movement and an allegorical self-portrait.
