Konstantin Chaykin Presents His Horological Art at SPIEF for the First Time
From the 3rd to 6th of June, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Konstantin Chaykin exhibits his Horological Art. Visitors may explore the master’s art at booth 40, Pavilion G.

Chaykin’s paintings involve into a dialogue with a business audience for whom time has always been the key resource. Yet the artist reminds us that time is not merely a measurable quantity, but also a philosophical category – an archetype frozen in colours and lines.

The unifying principle of the exhibition is a dialogue between the rational and the engineering. This concept is reflected both in the choice of artworks and in their arrangement on the stand. On the right are ‘Sedmitsa’, ‘A Mad Horological Party’, and between them the central conceptual piece – ‘Ahasuerus’. The eternal wanderer, condemned to an infinite journey through time, best captures the main theme of the forum: time as an irreplaceable resource that cannot be stopped but can be understood through art. On the left are ‘Goddess of Tempo’, ‘Bouquet of Time’, and ‘Thinking of the Time’s Birth’.

The exposition is enhanced by watches in display cases: ‘Joker Classic’, ‘Kolobok 2’, ‘Panda’, ‘Joker Iron Mask’, and ‘Joker Golden Mask’. While the paintings speak of time philosophically, these movements remind us of it literally. Thus the booth brings together the two poles of Chaykin’s creativity – philosophical wandering and engineering precision.

SPIEF is one of the key business events of the year, bringing together representatives of government, business and culture.

The exhibition runs from the 3rd to the 6th of June at booth 40, Pavilion G, as part of SPIEF 2026. Admission is available by forum accreditation.
