Levitas Art 40

The Levitas Blooming Tree watch from the Levitas Art Collection series is manufactured as a unique piece. Its uniqueness is guaranteed by the fact that the master craftsman who makes the dial uses the Florentine mosaic technique and can never make two exactly identical dials. The uniqueness even extends to the natural gemstones, which are unique by nature. The feminine character of this watch is further enhanced by the whimsically curved hands.

“The Levitas Art Collection is my first timepiece collection for women,” Konstantin recalls. “I dedicated it to my mother. Every model in the collection was conceived as a work of art, as women have a subtle perception of art. Every watch is a collector’s timepiece and carries so much handwork and philosophy that I believe it will be able to pick its own lady companion.”

The caliber K.03-0 of the Levitas watch was developed by Konstantin Chaykin and equipped with the ‘mysterious’ time indication system he developed. The movement is made entirely in Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture according to the standards of haute horlogerie, using traditional techniques for finishing the components: Côtes de Genève, perlage, fine straight and circular grinding, hand-polished chamfers, engravings, polished screw, pin and jewel recesses, ball polishing of the pivots and rhodium plating. The special feature of the movement is its crescent shape with a maximum ratio between the diameter of the transparent dial and the diameter of the movement.
