Ace of Hearts

To commemorate three years of successful collaboration, independent watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin and Chinese high-end independent watchmaking brand BEHRENS launch an all-new co-branded limited edition watch— Ace of Hearts

This timepiece blends Konstantin Chaykin's iconic Joker elements with BEHRENS' signature asymmetric design, creating a more distinctive and recognizable style. The dial retains the playful Joker essence of Konstantin Chaykin's style, while combining it with the witty and smiling face of the ‘Pottery Storyteller Beating a Drum’— a masterpiece of Chinese ceramic sculpture from the Eastern Han Dynasty.

The watch presents the image of a performing comedian exquisitely, embodying a spirit of optimism and resilience through haute horlogerie artistry. As a masterpiece of East-meets-West creativity, the Ace of Hearts reflects a profound cultural resonance between Eastern and Western interpretations of humor and artistic expression.

Featuring 11 industry-leading patents, the watch is powered by BEHRENS' new in-house calibre BM07, a mechanical manually wound movement that offers a 46-hour power reserve. The movement's essential components are meticulously hand-finished using haute horlogerie techniques, including manual brushing, manual mirror polishing and manual chamfering.

With a large skeleton design, the watch exhibits a cleverly witty smiley face, its mouth accentuated by a vibrant red outline, and a red heart-shaped seconds hand that incorporates Behrens' patented stone mill mechanism, moving in a unique and playful path reminiscent of millstone rotation. The two eyes display the hours and minutes respectively, while a power reserve indicator is positioned at 12 o'clock.

The timepiece embodies a groundbreaking approach to material innovation, offering Grade 5 titanium, SPSCF and synthetic sapphire versions. The Grade 5 titanium global version is limited to 600 pieces and the Russian version to 100 pieces. The SPSCF global version is limited to 150 pieces each in black and white, while the Russian version offers 50 pieces in blue. The synthetic sapphire global version includes 80 pieces in blue and 20 in pink, with the Russian version limited to 15 pieces in blue.

Each version incorporates the newly patented quick-release straps, facilitating seamless strap replacement with a single press. Each watch includes two fluorine rubber straps in different colors, available in both long and short lengths. The luminescence has also been enhanced to deliver a more arresting visual impact.
