In 2026, Konstantin Chaykin’s bestiary welcomes a new predator. “Wolf” is the second character in “East,” whose story began a year earlier with “Panda Titanium.” Over the next five years, one new model will be added to the collection each year. The series will conclude in 2029 with “Tiger,” a limited-edition watch powered by a manufacture caliber. The right to purchase it will be reserved for collectors who have acquired the four preceding Wristmons.
The main technical feature of “Wolf” is its full-moon period indicator. In classic versions, the moonphase indicator is driven by a 59-tooth wheel and displays the complete lunar cycle. Here, the principle is different: the disk appears in the predator’s open mouth for only two to three days – on the day before the full moon, on the day itself, and immediately afterward – before jumping back to its initial position.
“Wolf’s” character is also expressed through its design. The upper lugs are elongated and pointed, wavy guilloché recreates the texture and direction of the fur, and the vivid eyes with large black pupils are created using hand-applied high-precision pad printing. The restrained black, gray, and silver palette is accented by white fangs and the dark red interior of the mouth.
The 40 mm case is crafted from stainless steel. The watch is powered by the automatic K.18-28 caliber, based on the Swiss La Joux-Perret G200 movement modified for the Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture. The redesigned Joker-indication module comprises 111 parts, while the caliber offers a 68-hour power reserve. The model will be produced in an unlimited edition.
